The Mission

It all started with a love for my dog and coffee. All I wanted to do was drink my coffee and walk my dog. How was that so impossible?

I needed a hands-free option. I needed a leash that didn’t stay wet for for all of eternity after washing it. I needed it to be well-made, cute, and not stinky. Enter, biothane.

I didn’t picture myself in a world where I learned about leash material options, but here we are. Biothane is my medium of choice because of its durability (Athena , at times, fancies herself a sled dog), ease of cleaning (warm water and soap or even wipe and go), and its stink-proof nature (great for those dogs who love to roll in…things).

Pawthena’s was created because I discovered others with the same needs. They wanted to walk their dogs safely, on leash, but still drink coffee without spilling it every time their dog saw a squirrel. Pawthena’s is for those of us who love a multi-use item. Want to be hands-free? Done. Need a handle? We have you covered. Want it to function as a tie-out? Awesome. Walking multiple dogs? Let’s go.
